Indications

After reception of your search inquiry, the Register of Testaments creates and sends an invoice. The Register commits to the research as soon as the corresponding amount has been payed to its bank account.

The law on notaries in switzerland is managed by the cantons. This means that each canton has its own set of rules concerning notary. It is therefore not mandatory to register dispositions in our office in every canton. You can inform yourself on the swiss laws on notary on our website.

Only in the event of succession cases outside Switzerland :

Certain countries, for instance Spain, require a research of will certificate with an apostille for succession cases. If desired, we are able to inquire a notary who can legalize and obtain an apostille for our research certificate. The costs of this procedure are billed in a prepaid fashion.
